Standards for beginner instruments

The best beginning wind instruments are built with certain criteria in mind:

  • They are tough. They are built to withstand the trials of daily wear and tear they will undergo with use by the typical adolescent.
  • They are easy to play yet provide stable enough to produce a good sound
